Ronnie Lee Morgan Sr., of Warriormines, West Virginia departed this life on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 in Johnson City, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Welch, West Virginia on the 27th day of August in 1955, and the son of James W. and Beatrice (Dugger) Morgan.  He was a graduate of Big Creek High School.  He had held several positions while in the workforce and was last employed at Randy's Inc., in Northfork, West Virginia.  Ronnie was a very skilled carpenter and was always willing to help others; especially in his Community.  He loved sharing stories with lots of laughter of how life was when he was growing up. 

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; several of his siblings and his long time companion, and the Mother of his children, Anita Sharader.   

Ronnie leaves lasting memories to his children, Jenny and her husband, Ted Payne Sr., of Cucumber, West Virginia and Ronnie L. ( wife, Haley Barnett) Morgan Jr., of Warriormines;  two brothers, Johnnie "Shorty" Morgan of Bluefield, West Virginia and James "Knuckles" Morgan of Columbus, Ohio; his grandchildren:  Ted Payne Jr., Makayla Payne, Jayden Payne and Tyson Lee Morgan; several nephews and nieces; many other relatives and friends.  A Service in Loving Remembrance of Ronnie L. Morgan Sr., will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Calvary Baptist Church in War, West Virgina, with Pastor Mark McKinney officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM.  Arrangements entrusted to Gregory-Page Funeral Home in Welch, West Virginia.   The Family acknowledges the many friends who loved and gave support to Ronnie during his time on earth, and for the great times he shared with each of them.
